CAROL TAVRIS is a social psychologist, lecturer, and writer whose books include Anger and The Mismeasure of Woman. She has written on psychological topics for the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, Scientific American, and many other publications. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science, and a member of the editorial board of Psychological Science in the Public Interest. She lives in Los Angeles.

Need this book? Here it is!

I'm sure this is a wonderful Psychology book full of all of the lovely things the medical model has to offer BUT I didn't end up needing it. I didn't even open it. Although, if you are required by your professor, who is not as cool as mine was, you might want to consider renting this book from Amazon because it's pretty inexpensive compared to college prices. Also, the shipping is quick. Make sure you keep the box it comes in because when you're ready to return it, just print a shipping label (free!) and send it all back to Amazonland. Yes, it's really that easy.
